Wendi Barnes, director of Audit and Assurance Services at LaPorte, was recently selected as a ’40 Under 40′ honoree by the Baton Rouge Business Report.
Barnes is one of 40 honorees who were selected based on their “demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers and community service, and who are likely to continue to do so.”
Barnes is committed to her roles as a professional, as a parent, and as a volunteer, board member, and team leader. Her past and present volunteer efforts include work with Manship Theater; Baton Rouge Junior Achievement; Mentorship Academy; Paula Manship YMCA; Baton Rouge Rotary; Thrive Charter School; and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
She was named co-leader of the LaPorte Real Estate Industry Group this year, which brings together professionals from all five LaPorte offices.
