DIRECTOR, AUDIT AND ASSURANCE SERVICES
ABOUT TRACY
Since 1996, Tracy has been performing audits, reviews, and accounting services in a number of industries, including construction and real estate, employee benefit plans, closely held private companies, and financial services, including private investment funds. She has also assisted numerous clients with specialized services such as benchmarking analyses, business combinations, joint ventures, and the implementation of technical pronouncements. As a thought leader, Tracy is available to her clients, proactively sharing information on a broad range of issues.
CONSTRUCTION
Tracy is a co-leader of the LaPorte Construction Industry Group. She has substantial experience performing construction audits, reviews, and accounting services primarily in the fields of non-residential, specialty trades, marine, and oilfield services. Tracy has assisted her construction clients with state contractor license applications. She serves as a National Editorial Board member for Construction Industry Advisor and On-Site and attends annual construction industry conferences, helping to keep the firm abreast of the latest construction industry developments. Tracy serves on the Assurance Thought Leadership Committee for Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association, a national association.
EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS
Tracy has provided audit services for employee benefit plan clients with net assets that range from $4 million to $100 million in the construction, nonprofit, and healthcare industries as well as to various service companies. These plans include 401(k)’s, profit-sharing plans, and employee stock ownership plans (ESOP). She has also guided many organizations through their first-year EBP audits. Through the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, Tracy has access to many valuable resources related to benefit plan audits and best practices. She is a member of the LaPorte Employee Benefit Plan Industry Group.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
Tracy has over 15 years of experience serving financial services clients. She has audit experience for investment company clients, including private equity funds, where the Fund or its investment advisor is registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Tracy also performs custody surprise examinations for investment advisory clients in accordance with certain provisions of Rules 2042(b) and 206(4)-2 of the Investment Advisors Act of 1940.
