ABOUT MIKE
Mike has decades of accounting experience, including serving as a controller for 16 years. He brings a full range of services and a unique perspective to LaPorte’s Accounting Services clients. Mike’s deep experience includes valuable client services: month-end accounting, financial planning and analyses, payroll, budgeting, accounts receivable/accounts payable, account reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial reporting, among others. He is proficient in numerous accounting software packages and has a strong knowledge of the technological side of accounting. Mike has performed business system, software, and application upgrades employing innovative technologies with advanced functionality.
In his financial operations leadership role, Mike gained experience providing descriptive, deductive, and predictive data analytics. His record of success is based on managing projects; overseeing processes such as researching, gathering, and analyzing data; and compiling reports designed to support decision making for boards and executive leadership. Mike is detail-oriented and enjoys meeting challenges and, in his words, “solving accounting-related puzzles.”

Mike has significant professional services depth through his years working as a controller at a full-service personnel placement firm and in the Accounting/Finance Department with a professional employer organization (PEO). He is a member of LaPorte’s Professional Services Industry Group.
