ABOUT JOE
During Joe’s professional career, he has performed audits, reviews, and compilations and has assisted clients with the implementation of technical pronouncements such as ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition, ASC 842 – Leases, and ASC 805 – Business Combinations.
He has served clients including mid-sized companies ranging in size from private equity backed and privately held startups, growing, and mature entities. Industry experience includes construction, industrial, oil and gas, technology, professional services, manufacturing and distribution, and real estate.
Prior to joining LaPorte, Joe worked in Houston for both large regional and national firms. He began his professional career in 2004.
ENERGY
Joe has experience serving the energy industry in Texas, specifically with oil and gas services and upstream companies for both privately held and publicly traded entities.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Joe previously worked on percentage of completion accounting for an engineering client who provided services to land development, public works, transportation, rail services, energy, environmental, and surveying.
