ABOUT ETHAN
Ethan provides tax compliance and planning services to corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and high-wealth individuals. He serves clients across a broad range of industries and enjoys helping them navigate the many stages of their business lifecycles, including advising on entity selection, entity conversions, and changes in ownership. Additionally, Ethan has experience with multistate taxation and with preparing tax returns and conducting tax compliance research for a large variety of complex multistate clients. He began his professional career in public accounting in 2015.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
A member of the LaPorte Financial Services Industry Group, Ethan has deep experience working with community banks. He assists his clients with tax planning, preparation, and compliance issues that may arise whether due to standards changes, growth, or acquisition.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Ethan is also a member of LaPorte’s Professional Services Industry Group. He has advised clients in a variety of fields, including architecture, dentistry, engineering, investment advisory services, law, and medicine. Ethan’s board range of experience allows him to provide unique insights on his clients’ challenges and opportunities. He has advised on industry-specific accounting methods; partner buy/sell agreements; business continuity and succession planning; capital account issues; partner compensation; cash management; and business management using key performance indicators.
TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES
Ethan has experience in mergers and acquisitions from both the buy and sell side. He also has experience in transaction structuring, tax due diligence, and tax deferral strategies. As a member of LaPorte’s Transaction Advisory Services Group, Ethan’s goal is to optimize transaction tax results for his clients.
