ABOUT LINDY
Lindy has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, and she owned her own retail business for 11 years. This experience gives Lindy a greater ability to provide hands-on assistance to clients in many areas including accounting, payroll, sales tax, cash management, and software training. She develops compilation reports and quarterly/annual payroll returns, and sales and use tax returns for clients in a variety of industries. Lindy takes a proactive approach with her clients by keeping them informed of new laws and regulations affecting their businesses.
In addition, Lindy is instrumental in growing the firm’s cloud-based accounting services and consults regularly with clients on special projects such as software selection, training for software, financial statement analysis, and forecasting, etc. In this consulting role, she helps clients extract data from their client accounting software for special projects such as analyzing data, preparing financial statements or in support of transitioning to a new software.
As a leader in the firm, she is an active participant in Client Accounting Services conferences such as the Digital CPA Conference, Client Advisory Services (CAS) workshop, and RSM US’s CAS\Outsource Round Table, and Quickbooks® Connect events. She is also the individual within the firm who has the requisite knowledge to assist with ACA compliance and is heavily involved in helping clients with Louisiana sales tax questions, issues, or audits.
