ABOUT VICKIE
Vickie provides outsourced accounting and business consulting services to clients across a diverse range of industries, including marine services, construction, law, physician practices, and aviation. Her experience encompasses back office accounting, tax compliance (sales tax, payroll tax, and property tax reporting), and other related accounting issues. Additionally, she leads payroll tax reporting for the CAS department and successfully implemented the e-filing initiative for IRS payroll tax and informational forms. Vickie leads the training committee for the CAS Group.
She has experience in preparing compilations of financial statements in multiple industries and conducting examinations of Capital Construction Funds for compliance with the US Department of Transportation Maritime Administration (MARAD) guidelines and requirements.
Prior to joining LaPorte in 2016, Vickie worked in an accounting capacity in a variety of industries. She has experience with Sage accounting program products and extensive experience in Intuit QuickBooks desktop version.
CONSTRUCTION
Vickie has experience assisting construction clients with their accounting needs, ensuring their financial processes run smoothly and efficiently. She offers a comprehensive range of services, including periodic financial close activities, helping ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. Vickie is skilled in reconciling books and performing financial statement analysis, helping clients gain valuable insights into their financial performance. She has prior experience working in the construction industry and using the USC Customized Accounting System from US Computer Corporation. In addition, she is an active member of LaPorte’s Construction Industry Group.

Vickie has experience in the professional services sector, providing accounting support to attorneys and physician clinics. She excels in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes, helping ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
