ABOUT NICOLE
Nicole began her professional career in 2011. Since then, she has been performing audits and reviews for privately held businesses; nonprofits, including healthcare entities; and employee benefit plans. She has also provided insight and guidance related to processes and controls for clients who are developing and implementing policies and procedures.
HEALTHCARE
As a co-leader of the LaPorte Healthcare Industry Group, Nicole’s healthcare client base includes nonprofit healthcare systems and public sector hospital service districts. Her services to these clients include managing and reporting for financial statement audits, testing for compliance in accordance with Uniform Guidance, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements, among others.
EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS
Nicole’s services to her employee benefit plan (EBP) clients include managing and reporting for 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, and health and welfare employee benefit plan audits; assessing and providing recommendations for improving plan operations; and assisting in the preparation of plan financial statements, to name a few. She is a member of the LaPorte Employee Benefit Plan Industry Group.
NONPROFIT
A member of the LaPorte Nonprofit Industry Group, Nicole’s nonprofit clients are principally healthcare systems, foundations, and quasi-public entities. Her services to them are similar to those described in Healthcare, above.
