ABOUT MARK
NONPROFIT
Mark has decades of public accounting experience serving nonprofit organizations, including religious entities, university foundations, and charitable foundations, as well as initial consulting with a Gulf of Mexico Center of Excellence grant recipient based in Houma, doing unmanned aircraft research. He has assisted his clients with audits of financial statements, single audits, operational reviews, internal control evaluations, and preparation of IRS applications for recognition of tax-exempt status for clients. Mark has also assisted his clients with implementation of new standards such as FASB Codification Sections 606 on Revenue Recognition and 842 on Leases.
PUBLIC SECTOR
Mark’s services to his public sector clients have included audits conducted under Government Auditing Standards and single audits. He has also provided consulting services related to the implementation of new accounting standards, including GASB 84 on Fiduciary Activities and GASB 87 on Leases. His governmental clients include parish school boards and public sector commissions, among others.
