ABOUT LESTER
Lester began his career in public accounting in 2007. As a leader in the audit and assurance services group, he works with many of LaPorte’s large, complex clients and helps them respond to their evolving business and regulatory environments, including assistance with business combinations, new revenue recognition rules, and variable interest entities. He serves a range of industries, including public sector, nonprofit, and healthcare.
PUBLIC SECTOR
Lester is the leader of the LaPorte Public Sector Industry Group. His public sector experience includes serving on engagements for municipalities, parish governments, and special districts. He is a technical leader in the application of Government Auditing Standards and in measuring and reporting on compliance with applicable laws and regulations. He has worked on many audits and single audits of local governments and nonprofit entities.
HEALTHCARE
Lester’s healthcare clients include nonprofit hospitals, hospital service districts, and healthcare systems. His services include managing and reporting for financial statement audits, testing for compliance in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. Lester is a member of the LaPorte Healthcare Industry Group.
