The Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA) has named two LaPorte leaders as recipients of its 2025 Women to Watch awards. Christina Chifici, Audit and Assurance Services Director-in-Charge, was honored in the Experienced Leader category, and Nicole Reynolds, Audit and Assurance Services Director, received the Emerging Leader award.
Since taking the helm of LaPorte’s Audit and Assurance Services Group in 2009, Christina Chifici has grown her department’s revenues by more than 65%, expanded the team from 20 to over 60 professionals, and championed industry specialization—positioning LaPorte as a leader in construction and employee benefit plan services. A nationally recognized technical expert and past president of the Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association, Christina has served on the editorial board of influential industry resources; chaired and served on various committees for national construction associations; delivered sought-after presentations; and mentored countless professionals. Over the years her leadership has extended into the community through service with the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, Northshore Business Council, Susan G. Komen, and other organizations, earning her numerous accolades for professional excellence and civic impact. Christina was honored previously by New Orleans CityBusiness as a “MoneyMaker” and named to their “Women of the Year” list.
Known for her exceptional technical expertise and ability to build lasting client relationships, Nicole Reynolds is a trusted advisor to major clients in the healthcare sector and is known for patience and tenacity in tackling complex challenges. She is a dedicated mentor to colleagues and interns alike, developing impactful training programs and fostering a culture of learning within the firm. Beyond her work at LaPorte, Nicole serves as treasurer of Volunteer Ascension, where she applies her accounting experience to support community programs, and is a graduate of the Leadership Ascension program. Balancing her professional excellence with active community service and a hands-on leadership style, Nicole exemplifies the qualities celebrated by this award.
“LaPorte is proud to celebrate Christina and Nicole on their well-deserved recognitions from the LCPA,” said Eric Bosch, LaPorte President and CEO. “Their leadership, commitment to excellence, and service to clients and communities reflect the very best of our firm’s values. We congratulate them and look forward to their continued impact on the profession and beyond.”
