For the second year in a row, Forbes magazine has named LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors to the list of “America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms.”
The list, developed with the help of market research company Statista, highlights the “most recommended firms for tax and accounting services in the U.S. based on surveys of tax and accounting professionals and their clients.” Of the 278 firms appearing on the list, LaPorte is among 172 who were recommended for both tax and accounting services.
“We were pleased to be named in both categories once again,” said William T. Mason III, president and CEO of LaPorte. “As we celebrate our 75th anniversary in 2021, it means a lot to have our peers nationwide recognize us for this honor,” he added.
Established in 1946, LaPorte is one of the largest independent accounting and business advisory firms in the region, with over 190 personnel in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Covington, and Houma, LA, and in Houston, TX. The firm offers a variety of services, including accounting, audit and assurance, business advisory, and tax planning and compliance.
