Christina Chifici, CPA, CGMA, CIT, CCIFP, Audit and Assurance Services Director-in-Charge of LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors, has been selected as one of the honorees of the 2021 MoneyMakers award from New Orleans CityBusiness. The MoneyMakers award honors local financial professional for achievements in their respective industries and honorees are selected based on their industry and community involvement.
Christina has had many significant business accomplishments throughout her career, including her overall firm revenue contributions through her leadership of the Audit and Assurance Services group; her growth of the Construction Industry and Employee Benefit Plan groups at the firm; and her development of female talent at LaPorte.
Beyond her extensive commitment to the accounting profession, Christina brings that same passion and dedication to her work with civic and community organizations. She has been an active board member of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure New Orleans Affiliate since 2004. She is also active with the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, having served as a board member and currently serving as chair of the Finance committee, and the Northshore Business Council where she is currently the Co-Chair of the Membership committee.
Christina was selected as a 2015 Women of the Year honoree by CityBusiness, and in recognition of her success in a traditionally male-dominated field, she was also featured in the CityBusiness publication Path to Excellence in a story about women making their mark.
