The late-December passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 brought some much-welcome changes for health care providers, including $3 billion in additional provider relief funding, changes to the definition of lost revenue and greater flexibility in allocating targeted Provider Relief Fund (PRF) distributions. Furthermore, on January 15, HHS formally delayed required reporting related to the PRF and once again updated its reporting requirements. HHS also opened the online reporting portal for providers; however, the portal currently only allows providers to register, not to actually report. With no new reporting deadline communicated, HHS is encouraging providers to establish accounts and begin the reporting process. Any health care provider that received more than $10,000 in total PRF payments must eventually comply with the reporting rules. In this webcast, RSM professionals will share insights, guidance and tips on complying with shifting HHS timelines and guidance.

On this webcast we will:

  • Discuss the impact of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (H.R. 133) on COVID-19 relief funding
  • Describe the current status of the Provider Relief Fund reporting requirements, including the portal
  • Provide an update on compliance audit requirements
