Stephen G. Romig, CPA, CFP

Director of Tax Services

Steve is the Director of the Law Firm Services division and a Director in the Tax Services department. He previously served for 12 years as Managing Director of LaPorte.

With over thirty-five years of experience, Steve has provided business consulting and tax planning for family owned and managed businesses. As Director of the Law Firm Services division, he has assisted firms with partner compensation plan design, associate evaluation design, annual budgets, merger and acquisition engagements and firm start up implementation. His experience also includes litigation support consulting services and expert witness testimony in cases involving insurance claims, fraud, fire loss, RICO action defense, divorce and theft. In particular, he has assisted attorneys in the analysis of financial conditions of businesses and computation of lost profit due to business interruption and breach of contract.
