LSRH’s Healthcare Niche

The Healthcare Services Group is the largest niche practice within LSRH and was established in 1992. Today, our group comprises a dedicated team of 12 professionals who have developed a reputation as a respected and valued leader in serving the broad-based audit, tax, reimbursement and consulting needs of over 40 Louisiana and national healthcare clients. In addition to serving hospitals across the state, we are pleased to be the service provider for the Louisiana Hospital Association, the Community Hospital Coalition and the Metropolitan Hospital Council of New Orleans.

Our growth has been the result of our ability to provide our clients with close, personal attention; continuity and accessibility to all professional personnel, including managing directors; and prompt quality services in a cost effective, innovative manner.

LSRH’s Healthcare Services Group meets monthly to discuss recent industry developments, lessons learned and best practices with the goal of using that knowledge to continually raise the bar on client service.

The members of this Group are also members of the Healthcare Financial Management Association,
New Orleans Healthcare Managers Association and two committees of the Louisiana Hospital Association—the Diagnosis Resource Grouping (DRG) Task Force and
CFO Group. They have served on the Society of Louisiana CPA’s Medical and Healthcare Industry Issues Committee, and present as well as attend numerous healthcare
training courses.

Part of LSRH’s success in the industry has been in forging a team with diverse backgrounds: from Big Four national accounting firms to in-hospital industry and managed-care company experience. Plus, serving a range of clients as seen below, from rural health clinics to major metropolitan health systems, contributes to the Group’s continuing and broad-based understanding of the industry.
