(New Orleans, LA) LaPorte Sehrt Romig Hand (LSRH) CPAs has been named one of the top 15 regional accounting firms in the southwest—based on the firm’s 2007FY revenue growth—in the 15th annual survey conducted by the accounting industry publication, Practical Accountant. The publication also named LSRH as one of four ‘Regional Firms to Watch.’

Southwest firms saw a range of growth rates in 2007 across firms of many different sizes. Leading the list were the number 14 firm Malone & Bailey, with a jump of 37 percent to $11.2 million, and front-runner Weaver and Tidwell, with a 36 percent jump to $41.7 million. Other growing firms included LaPorte Sehrt Romig Hand ($14 million, up 25 percent)....

headquartered in New Orleans, has completed its merger with The Gautreau
Group in Baton Rouge. John C. Gautreau II and Crissie Head,
former principals of TGG, have been named partners in LaPorte Sehrt
Romig Hand (LSRH) CPAs.
The merger of the two firms became effective on October 1.
