Experienced Healthcare Reimbursement Consultant |
Metairie Office
Job duties include preparing Medicare/Medicaid cost reports, uncompensated care calculations, and interim cost reports models as well as reviewing bad debts to aid our clients in obtaining appropriate reimbursements. Performs special reimbursement projects as assigned.
Credentials must include: a Bachelor degree in accounting; CPA preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years healthcare reimbursement experience. Highly proficient in Microsoft operating systems i.e. Word, Excel. Knowledge of cost reporting software preferred.

Credentials should include: 3+ years of public accounting experience; CPA certificate or in the process of sitting for the CPA Exam; working knowledge of F/S, G/L, P/R, sales tax, A/R, A/P, and proficient in various accounting software packages a plus, i.e. QuickBooks, Peachtree, Creative Solutions.
